Ron Amos
President/Owner

Ron developed an interest in plants at a young age. A native of Madison, Wisconsin, he worked for Olds Garden Centers (now Jungs Garden Centers) during high school and college.
Ron attended the University of Wisconsin, Madison where he earned a bachelors and master's degree in Horticulture.
He started working for Evergreen as a propagator in 1982, became vice president in 1995 and purchased the nursery in 2001.
When he is not busy running Wisconsin's largest wholesale nursery, he enjoys juggling (watch out when he's practicing with the hammers), photography and riding his bike.
Dave Pfeffer
Vice President/Owner

Originally from Manitowoc, Wisconsin, Dave worked and played at any number of places before arriving at Evergreen Nursery in 1986. Dave attended the University of Wisconsin, Platteville and the University of Wisconsin Liberal Arts study Center Copenhagen, Denmark before earning a bachelors degree majoring in art. He later received his teaching certification in elementary education from Silver Lake College.
Dave has worked in various capacities at the nursery prior to becoming an owner and vice president in 2002.
In his spare time, Dave enjoys hunting (one trip to Africa so far), fishing and spending time at the cottage.
Vickey Vanderhoof
Sales/Accounts Receivable

Vickey, our Sales Rep Extraordinaire, started at Evergreen in 1995. Along with her sales duties, Vickey is also responsible for accounts receivable, assisting with inventory and Spring shipping and keeping everybody on their toes around the office.
Vickey and her husband Tom share their home with Winston, a golden retriever, and Salem, a yellow lab. She enjoys walking her dogs, riding her Harley Davidson, attending Packer games and golfing.
All of us at Evergreen Nursery have come to depend on Vickey's energy and ability. Most importantly, over the years our customers have also come to depend on her too!
Cindy Neuville
Managerial Accountant
In December of 2008 Cindy became our new managerial accountant. With over 30 years of experience and an associates degree in accounting, Cindy brings a wealth of knowledge to the position.
A life long resident of Sturgeon Bay, Cindy has been married to her husband Dan since 1977. They have two grown daughters Genn and Kristin. The "love of her life" however is Zorah, a retired three year old Greyhound.
Cindy enjoys reading, biking and Hiking.
Phil Van Cleave
Container Supervisor
Phil joined the nursery in November 2009.
Germain Routhieaux
Greenhouse Supervisor
Germaine started working at Evergreen April of 1984 transplanting birch as a part-timer employee. Five years later she became a culture person for the greenhouse and after about ten years she became the greenhouse supervisor.
Germaine has been married to her husband Don since 1964 and she's looking forward to retirement in the next few years.
When not working, she enjoys every moment she can spend with her ten grandchildren, camping and fishing.
Stacy Zak
Greenhouse Assistant Supervisor
Stacy graduated with a degree in Landscape Horticulture from Northeast Technical College in May 2006. She started at Evergreen only three days later and she is now on a fast track to becoming the Greenhouse Supervisor someday.
Born and raised in Neenah, Wisconsin, she is the second of three sisters. She met her boyfriend James while working at Yellowstone Park.
Stacy and James enjoy backpacking, swimming, healthy cooking and kayaking.
Pete Polich
Field Supervisor
Pete started at Evergreen in February of 2005. Initially, Pete was hired to be our spray applicator for our field operation. His title changed however in July of 2006, as he became our field supervisor.
Born and raise in Door County, Pete has brought with him over twenty five years of experience in agriculture as a dairy farmer. He is currently involved in helping his son establish an organic dairy farm.
Pete and his wife Val enjoy traveling to visit their kids and vacationing in Florida each spring. He also enjoys snowmobiling and an occasional Kessler and coke or two!
The whole gang.
