Cranberry Cuttings Production

In 2002, Evergreen Nursery began working with Ocean Spray propagating different strands of cranberries that they were interested in developing. Further research was again done on plants grown the following year.

Interest from commercial growers began in 2005. An initial order of 126,000 plants was placed by a central Wisconsin grower who ordered 612,000 plants for 2006. This past Spring we produced nearly one million plants for six different growers in Northern and Central Wisconsin.

All of us at the nursery are hoping that our relationship with the cranberry growers of Wisconsin will last for a long time to come.
